Missed-call text-back for NZ tradies

You're on the tools. Righto's on the phone.

When you can't pick up, Righto texts your caller back within seconds, listens to their voicemail, and texts you the lead — who called, the job, the suburb, how urgent. No app to check. No lead gone to the next tradie in the list.

How it works

  1. 1

    A call rings out

You're up a ladder or under a house. Your customer hears your usual voicemail and leaves a message — or hangs up.

  2. 2

They get a text straight back

Within seconds, Righto texts them on your behalf so they know you'll be in touch — instead of ringing the next number on Google.

  3. 3

You get the lead, not just a number

Righto listens to the voicemail and texts you a lead card: who called, the job, where, how urgent — with a link to the full details and recording.

Works with the big three

Righto runs on call divert, supported on pay-monthly plans with all three NZ mobile providers. Setup takes about 30 seconds on your own phone — no app, nothing to install, and your number stays the same.

On prepay? Get in touch first — call divert depends on your plan.

Straight answers

The questions tradies actually ask us — answered the way we'd text them back.

Will a robot talk to my customers?

Never. Callers hear a normal voicemail greeting and get one plain text back. The AI only works for you — turning the voicemail into a one-line summary.

Does the text come from my number?

It's sent by Righto, but it names your business in the first line. Nothing runs on your phone and your own number is untouched.

Will it text my mum every time she rings?

No — family and mates go on a do-not-text list, and nobody gets texted twice in the same week. You still see every call.

What about after hours?

Callers get a “we're closed for the day” text instead, and can hear a different greeting. You still get every lead.

What's setup like?

One code dialled on your own phone — about 30 seconds. Changed your mind? One more code turns it off.

How long do you keep voicemails?

The audio for 7 days. The written summary and transcript stay with the lead.

Got a text from Righto?

That means you called a tradie who uses Righto and they couldn't get to the phone. We sent the text on their behalf so you know your call was seen. They'll get back to you — no need to do anything.

  • Texts only ever go to you and the business you called — your details are never shared with anyone else.
  • Links in our texts go to righto.userenda.com — private lead pages for the business you called.
  • Don't want texts from us? Reply STOP at any time and we won't text you again.

Keen to try it?

Righto is being built in New Zealand and we're onboarding a small group of tradies to start. If missed calls are costing you jobs, we'd love to hear from you.
